First ever crossover where electric sales surpass gasoline

The first EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) type certified electric airplane went to market in June 2020. By June 2021, annual sales of the electric model of this airplane had surpassed that of its legacy gasoline variant.
This moment is known as a crossover. We expect more crossovers will occur soon, as new fixed-wing electric aircraft continue to enter production.
