Pie Aeronefs is the only Swiss team competing in Air Race E, the first ever electric aircraft race in 2022. Electro.Aero is excited to sponsor Team Pie Aeronefs. Their sophisticated UR-1 aircraft is targeted to reach a maximum speed of 590km/h while producing absolutely no CO₂.
Backed by a powerful 150kW motor, Pie Aeronefs aircraft adopts the SAE AS6968 charging inlet co-developed by Electro.Aero and adopted globally by the SAE AE-7D Aircraft Energy Storage and Charging Committee.
